More Households Swap Landline Phones for Wireless Service

The use of modern technology to communicate with consumers is crucial for the credit and collection industry, but the requirements in the Telephone Consumer Protection Act have not kept pace with the trends. The percentage of households in the U.S. with only wireless telephones is increasing, but not at the same pace as in previous years, according to the July-December 2013 National Health Interview Survey by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. <more>
